Charlotte comic con june 2018

The summer season is winding down, with some people already back to school or works in parts of the country. This meant a lot of nerdy goodness including comics, cosplayers, artist alley, and lots and lots of great deals. This was my first time at the Embassy suites in Concord NC. I was surprised how big the location is, easily three times the size of the old venue.

Of course this meant more vendors, and a ton of more comics that will fill my long boxes. My first stop of the day was artist alley, where I searched once again for the one and only Andy Smith. Smith, I kept forgetting the comic at home. This time, Quasar 50 was the first thing I packed. Smith was kind enough to sign the book, a copy of Demi-God 1, and a paperback art book.

So thank you Andy! The Westin is located across the street from the Charlotte Convention Center and, if construction goes as scheduled, there will be a skyway bridging the Westin to the Charlotte Convention Center by November! We appreciate your continued support over the past year and hope that you will come out and enjoy this exciting bonus event! Studio Stormcrow Comics Supah! The landscape surrounding the Charlotte Convention Center has changed over the past two years.

Parking areas that may have existed the last time you visited may no longer be available. There are paid parking lots in the surrounding area of the Charlotte Convention Center.

While costumes are welcome, please note that we will not be hosting a Costume Stage or a Costume Contest during this event. Concealed weapons are strictly prohibited in the Convention Center.

In compliance with the aforementioned regulations, the following items are not permitted for sale, in the possession of persons, or on the premises of the Charlotte Convention Center during the hours of the Giant-Size Charlotte Mini-Con:. No exceptions. We do ask, per current CDC recommendations, that any unvaccinated individuals wear a mask while attending indoor social events.

I am a local artist and was wondering is there were artist alley tables available. I have a paid table space for Heroescon and would also like to get one for Charlotte Mini Con.
