Moradi do some at his recommendation last year and have been extremely happy with the natural looking results. I love Magdalina, and I love going to her for facial, peels, epi-pen, and microdermabrasion she does an amazing job.
I especially like the epi-pen, and the results from her treatments and product recommendations have made a huge impact on my skin. When I tell people my age 58 they are surprised, I must give credit to Dr. Moradi and Magdalena for making me look younger. Jessica is also at Dr. Moradi's office and she is a sweetheart she does IPL, dot laser and laser hair removal. She does a great job and I have been very happy with the results of my treatments with her.
I have never felt pressured to do anything. I believe that Dr. Moradi is very cautious and meticulous about his work, and I trust his skill and opinion. Everyone at Dr. Moradi's office are friendly and professional. I look forward to my appointments and am thrilled with the results of all the treatments I have had done.
I am so glad my friend recommended Dr. Moradi to me. Moradi is the most talented, amazing doctor. He is a perfectionist and I would trust no other person to touch my face. He is highly educated in his field and actually teaches other doctors how to do procedures.
He has integrity, honesty, and patience and an eye to what is best for a natural appearance. So many of my friends go to him and everyone loves him and his work. I have actually gotten thank you notes from friends for the referral as they were so happy with their results.
His staff is great I especially love Veronica Sheila has done my fraxel, IPL and Exilis with amazing results Sheila is so nice and good at what she does, too. I would never recommend a doctor unless I thought they were over-the-top amazing and Dr. Moradi is the best at what he does. Don't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed. Sincerely, Tonya". Moradi is charming. I've had two IPL facials and will be going back for more! It's an easy to find location with plenty of parking. Treatment can only last for 20 minutes or less depending on the skin condition.
Usually, more than one session is required. The results are gradual and optimal results may be seen after several months. There may be discomfort during treatment and pain may be present but tolerable — similar to a slight sting of a rubber band snap. After treatment, the skin may appear reddish with slight swelling and blotchiness.
These normally disappear after a few hours. Improvements are noticeable even after the initial treatment but optimal results may be evident after several months. In fact, our ignorance was probably our greatest asset. Since we were so ignorant to retail when we started, just opening and running the store was a huge undertaking.
Even mundane tasks that are completed effortlessly today were major struggles at the time. Doubling our size and moving locations seven years in was absolutely crazy too. In that way, our own success and trying to scale the business has provided for the biggest challenge.
On that note, keeping the business going at the level that people have come to expect is the next major challenge. Maintaining the quality that people have come to expect is constant work. Tell us about Pigment — what should we know? My background teaching really influences how we build our displays.
At one point I taught drawing and other courses at three institutions simultaneously—Southwestern College, Point Loma Nazarene and even a short stint at UCSD extension while continuing to teach at Mesa. This was all while owning Pigment. The challenge to impress customers with the next display really keeps us going. Good displays hinge on good product and we work tirelessly to source new items and discover new talent. We take great pride in supporting other small vendors.
From day one, the store was about supporting local artists. In fact, sales from my own work spawned the endeavor into retail in the first place. We sold my work just doors from Pigment for five years before opening Pigment. The relationships forged with the artists in the community continues to be the back bone of the shop today. We rely heavily on word of mouth and are eternally grateful to the network of supporters that continue to encourage their talented friends and family to reach out to us.
We have a special admiration for anyone who is willing to put their work out there for us to see and review. It can be really nerve-racking to put your work out there and we feel so fortunate every time we get a submission. New talent keeps us unique and different and on the cutting edge with up and comers. Those moments are the rewards that make the challenges of owning a business worthwhile.
