As if it was placed there just for me. I had booked a holiday in France using the Eurostar to get there. I was excited by the trip; less so by the fact that I would have to stay overnight in London.

Noise, crowds, cost, trouble getting about; these were all things which I associated with London, and which were making me feel uneasy about the trip. I need not have been worried, because I made a choice which took all of the potential stress out of the situation. The Crescent is in a very pleasant location overlooking tennis courts! It is centrally placed between Euston station my arrival point and St.

Pancras station, neither being more than ten minutes walk away and I did walk. The room was not enormous, but, hey, what are you going to be doing that requires something the size of an amphitheatre? The best bit was that internal noise was not noticeable.

I have stayed in many multi story hotels where sleep was impossible due to doors slamming, and the sound of feet on floorboards has been very intrusive. This was not the case here, as the building is very sturdy. Breakfast was superb, with me able to make a start on the non-cooked aspect whilst the staff were assembling to deal with the cooked course.

The dining room was busy, but the service was still quick. This was useful as I had an early train to catch. The checking in and out and settling up process was very easy, and handled with good manners and assistance in other matters like where to eat etc All in all, the experience totally retuned my opinion of staying in London, and I would consider staying at this location again, even if it meant going out of my way to do so.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Useful luggage storage as we arrived too early. Spacious room and bathroom with very comfy beds. Great power shower with toiletries too.

Delicious breakfast too, nice crispy bacon. Date of stay: November Trip type: Traveled with family. I am rightly proud of my team and meeting and looking after our guests is the fun part of the job. We have currently not long reopened having put in place the many new precautions designed to keep us all safe. Unfortunately, the very service you so valued, luggage storage, has had to be suspended. However, we are asking guests to let us know their ETA so we can have their room ready for them if at all possible.
